Most of these images were taken mid-job rather than staged afterward, so they show the parts of a system a homeowner rarely sees. Open trenches show pipe depth and how laterals are routed around tree roots, existing utilities and hardscape. Valve manifolds are photographed before backfill so you can see how the wiring is bundled, how unions are set for future service, and how the box is positioned where a technician can actually reach it years later.

On repair jobs the photos usually capture the diagnosis rather than the finished patch: a cracked lateral found by pressure testing, a solenoid that failed closed, a wire splice corroded from sitting in standing water, or a head that was buried by years of mulch top-dressing.
